Quick report
General impression of the snowpack at and just above tree line in this area is fair to good stability but poor structure. No recent avalanches or signs of instability. Pits had no alarming results. Last weeks storm snow has settled out to just around a foot and now has a inch thick crust from last nights freeze. Some windows of good viz was closed out in early afternoon with overcast skies and light to moderate SE winds. Temps just below freezing. Surface conditions improved at 3000’ and above.
