Quick report
There were no signs of avalanche activity that day. The recent storm was warm, windy, snowy. Snowed about 2ft and also rained up to at least the tit elevation. New snow froze solid with the machines only breaking through in areas of new snow that fell in more protected areas. A shinny icey crust a couple mm thick was present on top. Typical 6-8" crust over large facets. Stuck to low angle slopes because of crew experience level.
