Quick report
We observed cornices on all aspects at upper elevations. Crowns and debris of old avalanches already reported we’re still visible with new snow on bed surfaces. No obvious signs of instability
Weather
Overcast with light snow to mostly clear skies and comfortable temps, 2 inches of new snow
Snowpack
HS ranged from 115-250cm, generally increasing in depth with elevation and shaded/lee aspects A right side up hard slab >1m thick sits on top of weak, dry facets at the base of the snowpack on all aspects and elevations we travelled in PSTs were challenging to isolate due to hardness and depth of slab yielding inconclusive results
