Quick report
Poked into the north-facing bowl off of Breccia to check out the snow structure. The average snowpack height was around 1.5 to 2 feet, with large 2-4mm striated facets capped with a hard slab (1F+ to P). I'd surmise most high norths resemble this structure here. Pit showed moderate to high strength, with double propagation (ECTP 11 and ECTP 20 on a mid-pack facet layer attached to an old crust down 8 inches and at the base of the snowpack, both well-developed and dry facet layers that just differed in size.
