Snowpack

There are 5 prominent layers, from the top down, 1) Hoar frost layer, breaks off extremely easily. 2) Layer from last snow storm. 3) Layer from snowstorm before that, they are semi bonded. 4) Slidy danger layer, when test were conducted this is where everything broke off from, most likely from the warm cold spells post thanksgiving. 5) Firm conglomerate layer of sugary snow. After that hit the ground, there was 2.5 - 3 feet of snow.
