Quick report
In the small clearing on skiers left below Switch house at 3’900 feet our avalanche course dug a 1 meter deep snow pit in a wind loaded south facing aspect. We found about 35 cm of 1F on top of 5 cm of 4F over the New Year MfCr. We got CTM, Q3 and CTM, Q2 and a ECTN23. See picture. We descended skiers left side from the switch house, decent turns, but definitely a few sharks to be aware of. Hopefully tonight‘s weather resolves that issue.
