Quick report

Poor visibility with high winds in the Bowl. TAir at Pinkham at 8:30 -4.5C with Winds Strong from N; Hermit Lake at 13:05 -11.0C S-1; Pinkham Notch at 14:30 -3.5C. with Winds L from North and S-1. None. The new upper F hard 10cm on crust was stable with no results on Shovel Tilt tests.

Lenticular clouds spotted from distance at sunrise over the Presidentials with that grey ominous cloud cover and visibility during day. Winds strong. S-1 all day long.

Snowpack

Poked in the snow at 2 locations with similar results at 4200' and 4150'. 10cm of F hard on 4-10cm of K hard rain crust. Below was a laminate of 1F to P hard of rounds and decomposing crusts. HS 70-80cm. At 4140' snow temps were as follows (up from bottom in cm) TAir -10.0, TSurf -7.5, 65 -2.5, 55 -3.0, 45 -0.5, 35 -0.5, 25 -0.5, 15 -0.5, 5 0.0. Recorded between 11:30 and 12:15. Nothing exiting, really.
