Quick report
SWE samples today ranged from 10% at upper study site to 13% at lower study site. New snow bonding well to old snow surface on my tour of 7 meadows proper. Boot top ski penetration with supportive old snow layer. 16 cm to 22 cm was measured providing a nice soft surface. I could feel the old snow surface in the second gully at treeline but not so much in the first gully. A few qick hasty pits were dug and unremarkable with no signs of instabilty. Snowing lightly at time of sampling with a mix of spatial dentrites with a graupel finish. Solid forecast from KPAC team. Still a very thin snowpack below 9500 feet. Miracle March is happening.
