Start of Leavitt lake valley opposite repeat offender

Our group set out today for some back country skiing staying away from anything near 30 degrees. On the skin up we noticed snow coning and open tree wells in close proximity, soft snow remained within the tree line. Repeat offender also had sign of recent avalanche but it’s to be expected. Moving out of the tree line we experienced 25-30 mph sustained winds with gusts up to 45. Open terrain as we got higher was extremely wind blown. We dug a pit at roughly 9800 ft to give us a warm and fuzzy on the snow pack since the recent storm. It produced no results. After our ski there we headed up to Leavitt lake and skied the Leavitt and ski lake ridge line on the NW aspect. Slope angle was 25 degrees and the terrain presented much of the same in snow pack - wind board. Throughout the day plumes of snow were visible on the Leavitt lake ridge line. Overall, after giving the mountain its day after the storm, NW aspects are gaining strength and gave us no reason for concern.
