Observed signs of avalanche activity occurring in the last 24-48 hours on the east-southeast face of Didilkama with the runout in one case extended close to the reed lakes trail. Observed cracking in the snowpack near weak points (boulders, willow) in the valley and significant whumpfing when ascending a moderate southeast slope around 3,000ft with the collapse occuring at the persistent layer of depth hoar. Propagation of these collapses was fairly large, extending 20-30 ft up and down the slope in some cases.
