Quick report
Our party toured up to Ross on Friday, April 24th. It was partly cloudy most of the day, but especially cloudy past the foothills. Wind was minimal and temps stayed cold up top (-8°C at 1:30pm, 8410'). ECTN17 was observed on a weak layer, 60cm beneath the new storm cycle on a thick layer of grapel (5cm). Data was collected on a NE/E facing slope at 8410' on a 38° slope. No cracking or collapsing snowpack was observed.
