Bomber Glacier
Quick report
While touring around Reed Lakes and Bomber Glacier, we noted a recent D1 persistent release on a northerly slope adjacent to Bomber Pass. We did not see any other recent slab avalanches throughout our trip, which included a 360-degree view from Lynx Peak. It appeared that the 3/18 wind event did not produce as much avalanche activity in Archangel or Gold Mint as it caused in the forecast area. We did not yield any red flags while skiing multiple aspects and elevations in the area, but I would still recommend caution in steep terrain which previously shed during the January avalanche cycle. It's also worth noting that southerly aspects are producing sizeable wet loose activity all around Archangel and Gold Mint. Mind your overhead exposure and keep that spf on you!

Characteristics of the avalanche align with "recent" naturals in the forecast area (1-2' thick slabs sliding on top of old bed surfaces from the January persistent slab cycle). We are confident that it was a natural avalanche, but there is a chance it was remotely triggered by another party.
