Started our tour in Sardine meadows at the mouth of voodoo bowl we used the E finger to gain the ridge at 9500’ where we dug our pit.

Quick report

Weather started out overcast at 34*F with a good amount of humidity. Wind was light and increased in the afternoon. Light amounts of snow available for transport. Settlement cones forming around trees, top snow was soft in non wind affected areas / in the trees, as we were departing the trees at 9450’ we saw a light surface hoar knocked down by the wind, we found wind affected snow on the N/NW/NE aspect at 9500’ where we dug our pit on a NW aspect. P 0-40cm, 1F 40-65cm, F 65- 110cm, 1F 110 - 120, CT29 at 50cm, non planar. Overall there is wind slab that is consolidated, we kept our terrain choice cautious for the day and enjoyed the soft snow in the trees.
