No red flag signs of instability observed prior to avalanche. Did observe signs of wind transport higher in the couloir.

Snowpack
Having only used pole probe tests I did not get an exact height of the snowpack at that elevation. While we didn’t experience any shooting cracks or whumping there was evidence of wind effect and a large overhead cornice.
Avalanche
We climbed and subsequently dropped in on the W Face. As for an approx elevation, the slide occurred just above 6300ft. While bootpacking the coulouir, climber 1 triggered a slab and was caught and carried, approximately 100'. Climber 2 was not carried. Slab released just below the peak lookers right of the large cornice. Was not able to climb to the crown and investigate however, I would estimate the crown to have a depth of 5ft and a width of 20ft. The slide also ran approx 1,300ft. Estimated start zone to be around 45 degrees.
