- <p>There were lots (> 5-6) point release wet slides that were a least a day old. While this problem is seems to be getting better, the new snow was still willing to move or sun affected slopes. Steep slopes and near cliffs/rocks was much worse. We performed a ECT and CT at 6700' and 8600' with no results. </p> <p>While not avalanche related, an expert skier in our group had an unpleasant fall with the variable snow(breakable crust) an contributing factor.</p>
New snow from friday and warm temperatures resulted in very heavy loose surface snow.
