Snow stability test at 8200' on a 22 degree NW aspect yielded a CT13. The HS was 65cm and the column had a sudden collapse at the October facet layer, 55cm down. When filling in our snow pit there was an aubile collapse of this layer on the entire test slope when stomping down with skis.
