Quick report

Aspect
North
Elevation
2469 m

Similar structure to the SE aspect, minus the crust layers. The surface had a mixture of small surface hoar, near surface facets, and decomposing fragments. There is a possible small buried surface hoar layer down 30-32 cm which was reactive in a co-workers compression tests on the same aspect, and in the shovel shear test from the pit above. Low angle north aspects were skiing good. Large tree bombs were noticed on steep NW-NE slopes.
