- <p>We did not experience any cracking, collapsing, or note any avalanches of note. The snow did not sluff on steep test slopes. I had expected to see significant wind loading and subsequent slab development.</p>
Many quick tests and hand pits revealed a good bond to the old pre-storm crusts. A weakness perhaps a foot down will probably settle out overnight. We noted a number of steep slopes ridden without activity.
Snowpack
See above. No greenhousing noted as northerlies remained soft. Little wind effect.
