A member of our party with her fresh contacts in, spotted this avalanche from across the canyon in white pine cascading off the rock band below sunrise peak into tanners gulch at 10:30 am. We saw a
similar, smaller and slower slide occur on the same aspect underneath the spire in white pine at the same time.
