Various crusts were found underneath an increasingly deep layer of powder, they disappeared around 2500. Energetic whumpf heard and felt at 3900 Pit dug at 3900 WSW aspect Total depth 200cm ECTP24 60cm Broke with energy on a layer of buried surface hoar no more than 8mm in size.

Traversing out of Bertha Creek across on of the gullies on the south face of cornbiscuit when a cross loaded wind slab released into the gully, taking me over the edge with it. The snow ran around 100 feet down the gully before settling
