Quick report
While out snowmobiling Friday evening I spotted this avalanche in the distance from the Moon Mountain area. Looks like a slope with a lot of sun exposure and potential cornice fall. E/SE aspect 7200’ I did not notice any signs of instability or slushy snow on my ride. Surface conditions were variable; ice, spring snow, and spots with up to 6” of lighter powder. No wind and 50 degrees while the sun was up.
