Quick report
Toured up to the saddle skinners' right of the Nike site. There was about 3-4 inches of new snow on a variable base, wind scoured on the ridges, and very saturated wet snow at lower elevations. Winds were dead calm, and thick, misty clouds made visibility hard. We dropped the north side of the ridge with generally enjoyable skiing, with some mellow slough near the ridge, but otherwise no obvious signs of instability. The snow became very heavy and sticky by midday, bring that glop stopper and apply generously.
