Quick report

Dug a pit at 2,534 feet on a SW aspect (230 degrees) before ascending Eddie’s head wall. 290cm total depth. Storm density change 25cm from top, a second density change 60 cm down, and 85cm down was the old snow/new snow interface. Q2 shovel shear on both the 60cm and 85cm layer; moderate force. Top 10cm had a density change which sluffed when riding. CT 17 on the 60cm layer and CT21 on the 85cm layer. ECTN 9 at 25cm layer, ECTN22 on the 85cm interface. No propagation until overdrive taps. Surface hoar 6-10mm on a NW aspect at 1,900 feet. Surface hoar at higher elevations as well but seemed smaller. Amazing day in the mountains with friends :)
