Quick report
This morning there were 6-8" of new snow on Mount Glory. 5.5" at MP12 at 10% density. Many areas have melted out and this new snow thinly covers rocks and frozen coral reef snow. On the bright side it seems to have covered up the dust layer pretty well in this area.
Ridge features were scoured with fresh slabs on leeward slopes. Most areas at upper elevations have seen some sort of wind effect from swirling winds and shorts bursts of intense snow.
I would expect wind slabs to continue to be a problem with more snow and wind in the forecast.
Small wind soft slab avalanches failing at the new/old interface. Triggered by explosives. They did not propagate wide or deep and ran a hundred feet or so.Weather
