Quick report

I headed out around 8:30. There was 1-3" of snow on the road and at the trailhead. I didn't experience any cracking or collapsing today heading up to the old man's bowl. The snow was minimally wind effected until reaching the upper SE face. Soft wind slabs had started forming, up high in the last 200-300 feet. New snow seemed to be about 9" give or take. The summit is still patchy and stripped with plenty of rock to down climb to reach the gully entrances. The skiing was excellent and generally unconsolidated on top of a crust layer.
