Quick report

Very windy today, with active transport occurring even in sheltered trees. About 6 inches of new snow by 1200, generally low density and right side up. On a E/NE aspect at ~10,400’, the new snow is not bonding well to the icy crust it buried, and showed some signs of slab formation. Could be something to keep an eye on as snow totals rise. The winds war on the trees also continued today.
