Snowpack

Instability Comment

I think the main problem moving forward is in the top meter of snow. Mostly new snow and wind drifted snow that is now becoming more of a slab.

The main reason I dug a full depth snow pit is to get temperatures and to see how much the PWL is healing. Both hypothesis were confirmed with a weak temp gradient and rounding facets but still pretty weak bonds. Its moving in the right direction. The dragon is still lurking and may be triggered in very isolated shallow spots or by putting a large trigger on the surface but fingers crossed this dragon is going to sleep.
