Quick report
A potential skier triggered avalanche below the cliffs on the skier's left side of Steve Baugh's bowl. 3rd day of sunshine and warm temps. Winds have been out of the south/southwest in light to moderate range for the last 12 hours. Appears to be a small wind slab with a max depth of 8-10" Wind slabs are still not well bonded to the old snow surface even a few days after fresh snowfall and winds.

Abundant sunshine the last 3 days. Winds have been out of the south/southwest at Targhee for the last 3 days. Warm temps during the days reaching into the 30's and temps dipping into the single digits at night.
Snowpack
Solar slopes are receiving abundant sunshine the last few days and have undergone multiple melt-freeze cycles and have developed stout crusts. Shady aspects have some near-surface facet development in the top 5 cms. Wind slabs are still having trouble bonding to the old snow surfaces, observed a few D1 - D2 around the backside of the resort, up to 12" in depth.
Avalanche
Small wind slab, SS-AS-R1-D1-O, appears to be skier triggered after a person dropped a cliff, but tough to tell could be a chunk of cornice falling off with the sunshine and warm temps.
