Toured out of the north boundary at bridger today. In a northeast facing chute, a rider triggered a storm snow pocket that was about 8” deep and was about 10’ wide. The debris continued downslope into another chute. We investigated the lower chute and found a crown near the top of the chute, and another crown in the runout of chute. The lowest slide in this series of slides was the largest, and was 1’ deep and 25’ wide. The debris pile was deep enough to bury someone, but not by much. From the top crown to the debris pile was around 650’. While skiing, we pulled out a few other small slabs about 8-10” deep. The wind was moving snow all day on the ridge, by the end of the day stuff down low (Bradley meadows) was getting some wind affect.
