I saw a recent avalanche up high on the east aspect of Henderson. I had cracking and a small wind slab avalanche fail as I skied on a test slope (measured 38 degrees) up near Lulu pass at 9800 feet/ NE aspect. Photo #2. Test slope was an open area near ridge line being actively loaded by W/NW winds. Observed alot of wind & blowing snow today.

Precipitation stopped and the sky went from overcast to broken around 1000 this morning. Moderate Westerly winds with strong gusts. Intense wind transport of the new snow observed.
