- <p>Not widespread, but my Avy 101 class experienced one subtle collapse, on a fat rounded pillow of snow, whilst looking at a repeater path that avalanched near Twin Lakes Pass during the mid December storm</p>

- <p>Isolated to the leeward side of upper elevation ridges, fresh drifts might break a little deeper and wider than you might expect... particularly in high alpine terrain.</p> <p>Easy to manage sluffs didn't appear to pack much punch.</p>
We're blessed! Wasatch snowpack's got a lot of body and coverage is excellent for late December. Low density surface snow on top of Christmas storm is a bonus.
