Snowpack seems to be gaining strength. Steep slopes around Big Flat above 40 degree has sluffed off the new overnight snow. Video shows my Extended Column Test.

- <p>A burst of new snow fell in the last 8 hours. About 5-6" in the 8,500-9,000' area. </p> <p>Previous snow pits had PWL as the weak link our tests. Today, in this pit, the snowpack reacted much stronger. </p>
