Snowmobilers were riding in upper Seeley and decided to climb some hills. One rider had successfully climbed the slope without incident. The second rider was near the top of the slope when he triggered a massive avalanche. He was able to continue climbing up the debris as the avalanche was releasing. He was knocked off his machine but the majority of the debris was below him. He and his machine took a tumble but wound up on top of the debris. A third rider captured the whole scene on video:
