Quick report
We headed up Tenderfoot with hopes of hiding from the impending rain a little bit longer than we suspected in Turnagain. There was a thin rain crust atop wet, sticky snow from the parking lot to just above the cell tower around 1800'. From ~1800' to 2100', the snow was heavy, wet, and sticky. Above 2100', there was a gradual transition to softer, drier snow. We dug a quick pit at 2718' on a W aspect to perform an ECT given the recent remote triggers along the ridge. ECTN22 at ~25cm down. We opted to ski the ridge along the uptrack rather than descending towards Tenderfoot Creek drainage. The day started cloudy but precip free, then some snow started falling around 11:40. By 13:30 the snow and wind had increased considerably. ~10-15mph sustained NNE wind with heavy falling snow while we transitioned. On the exit, we had a wintry mix from about 2200' to 1600'ish (just below the cell tower). By the time we were at the parking lot, it was full on rain and 34*F.

A couple of glide releases on Hale Bop were observed from the Tenderfoot uptrack. Unknown date/time of release. Seem to be similar(same?) paths as observed earlier this season. There are multiple tension cracks adjacent to the existing crown.
