Quick report
Walking downtown on 5th street and heard rumbling start, looked up and noticed a powder cloud coming out of Chop Gully and a continued rumbling as the powder cloud continued into Downtown Juneau. After the slide ended, looked up into the starting zone of Chop Gully and noticed a crown line running across the starting areas.

Prolonged outflow winds have been transporting low density snow that fell from January 26th to January 30th. Winds have been on a downward trend throughout the past few days with temperatures slowly warming throughout the past few days at ridgetop as well as near sea level.
