Quick report

No recent avalanches or snow being actively transported. NE slopes above 7500’ still holding snow after the warm week. All other aspects appeared melted out. No instability observed.

Light rain and snow showers above 6000’ throughout the day, with occasional clearing. A classic fall day in GNP. No accumulation of new snow.

Snowpack

10-12 cm of recent snow from earlier in the autumn is well bonded with glacial ice. Warmer weather the last few days left a nice layer of facets along the snow surface.
