Quick report
We took a hike, both up and down, today in the Middle Fork.
- Rain happened all the way to 7500'.
- There was 4-6 inches of old snow in the valley bottom in the morning. By the time we left there was only 1-2 inches .
- We saw rollerballs on open N and NE slopes.
- Total snow depth at 7000' was 75 cm.
- Skies were overcast all day, rain was intermittent.
- Temps were WARM.

WARM. It rained off and on throughout the day, however probably less than .10" total.
Snowpack
We dug a pit on a NE aspect, 7000'. There was 70 cm of snow. The basal layer is wet and the 11/7 crust was pretty well non existant.

- The top 20 cm was saturated from todays rain.
- The upper/saturated snowpack we found was 4F hard at best.
