Quick report

Fearing a dearth of observations from the WMR-adjacent backcountry, we headed out into the murk. Skies were obscured for our whole tour, with light ridgetop winds and calm elsewhere. Precip was very light, with a mixture of frozen and non-frozen around 5600ft. Temperatures hovered around freezing. We dug on a North, lee aspect at 6400ft with a snow depth of 230cm. We had no results on any of our tests and did not observe any weak layer directly above the early Feb crust. Of note, we did see a couple of what we believed to be glide cracks across the way on a south aspect.
