-No obvious signs of instability. -App. 2 inches of new snow through 2:00pm today. -Found intact surface hoar 8-9 inches below the surface from 5500 ft. to ridgetop on shaded aspects. -No propagation in large block stability tests (ECTN21) on the surface hoar layer. -Not a very cohesive slab above surface hoar (4F to Fist hard).
