Wind slab in Fraser chutes

Today we Skied in Fraser Chutes. The low snowpack is still making the approach difficult with multiple early season hazards to contend with. Strong winds over the weekend have scoured ridge crests and formed hard windslab at treeline and above. The best ski quality was found at treeline in open pockets protected from the wind. Snowfall was becoming heavy by the end of the day.
