Heather Mountain

Exploration assault on Heather Mountain. We were able to skin from North Shore road. 15cm of snow at the truck. 150cm+ at the top. Logging road coverage was adequate on the way up and ski down. A few parties were out this weekend, two skiers were successful at skiing the summit. We ran out of time trying to navigate the cliff at the base of the final approach. Overall, conditions were very promising above 1000m. Sun crusted and soft everywhere below.
