There was an avalanche that occurred roughly 3-4 days ago on the N- NE aspect slope of baldy viewpoint. There is a cornice forming overtop of the slab avalanche area
Avalanche Information
Avalanche occurred on the north/ north east aspect slope between 35-40 degrees. Avalanche ran out about 100m from the base of the slope. Size is roughly a 1.5 - 2. Wind loaded slope, deep persistent slab problems with a surface facet layer 0-30cm above the ground.
