Fairview Avalanche

Size 1-1.5 wind slab avalanche off north side of Fairview mtn above lake Louise observed today at 12:40pm while climbing Louise falls. There was heavy spindrift and sloughing throughout the day and major wind transport. The slab was at treeline elevation at the bottom of the path above the cliffbands and unsupported. Fracture was maybe 50-75m wide (too far to guess depth) and ran 75m to the end of the path and over the cliffs. No other avalanches observed but could be heard from back in the plain of six glaciers.
