Big Hill

Difficult Splitboard travel up the wind ravaged broad ridge of Big Hill. Scoured and hard from Monday nights strong E/SE winds. A striped landscape, with hard drifting and windslabs, until we descended the lee West facing slopes, were we found quality riding in trees. 40+cm of well bonded new snow that showed little wind effect. Today’s stability test produced no results.
