Avalanche Information

Size 1 wind slab. Released naturally at peak of the winds (Abbot station reporting gusts of 23 at 11am, but a few westerly gusts felt stronger in this drainage). Caught & carried one skier ~5 meters and took one of their skis with it. New snow bonding poorly on old snow, even on higher elevation protected north. ~30cm of new snow at time of avalanche.
