Bell Couloir

Great day to be at Taylor Lake. -3 C at truck at 7:30 AM. ~ 10 cms of snow sitting on a well settled snow pack as we ventured into the couloir. Temperature crust was evident throughout climb into the couloir. All hand shear tests were unable to get a planar failure - snow was well bonded. Cloudy all day with minimal wind. Stability was great. Temp didn’t get above 0 C. No sloughing or cracks or much sign of instability.
