Flower Couloir

Skiied the flower couloir and petals yesterday, stem was pretty not great with a lot of hard snow and moguls above the choke. Towards the fan skiing improved vastly and great powder at the exit gully. Petals were in bad condition, fairly windswept and sunbaked with not much snow left. Shockingly there were pockets of powder still up there but always sitting on a crust. Compression test produced not great results but we couldn't get anything to propagate, including when a dude jumped on the ECT block. Some serious cornices overhanging bow summit bowl and the petals bowl, definitely stay climbers left/skiiers right around both features. Overall the couloir is still worth it however a few parties skiied it after we did- i bet its almost totally clapped out now. Give the petals a miss
