Equinox ride

Nice powder day on chief pascal, white out at the top for most part. Equinox was in great shape, snow guetting heavy at lower elevation but still playfull. Dug a pit on a NE face around 1900m that was a bit crusty. Cracked the persistant slab at about 40-50cm down while cutting the back of a compression test. On a ECT, new snow (5-10cm)triggered very easily at 4-5 taps with no propagation, smooth surface. Persistant slab at 23 with medium propagation and uneven surface. Rutchblock: 5-10 cm trigger with on ski step, deep slab after 4 hard jumps, not a smooth slide.
