Mid to high-level clouds stayed mostly above ridges. A few sun-breaks 2-2:30p. Decent visibility. Intermittent S-1 snowfall. In exposed terrain, E winds were mostly light with a few moderate gusts moving small amounts of snow. Had views of Tye Pk and Lichtenberg and did not see obvious blowing snow there.
Snowpack
Good stability with no signs of unstable snow or avalanche danger on slopes over 40 degrees.
In wind-exposed terrain up to 5,360ft, we saw light signs of drifting and scouring in the past 24hrs. Drifts were generally 20cm deep and not very large in area with an isolated pocket up to 40cm. These were unreactive to skiers.
The most recent crust (2/12-13 warm-up and sun) is loud and supportive of skis on solar slopes. On those slopes, it's on or just under the surface. The surface and upper snowpack is much softer on shaded NE-NW aspects. Found a temperature crust below 4,500ft from the 12-13th on shaded northerly slopes.
