Quick report

Collapsing
widespread

Roller balls. Collapsing was noted while breaking trail. Ski pole probing identified hollowness around 12 inches. At pass, weather was foggy and 28 F. At ridge of Tronsen, variable clouds and ~30 F. Ski tracks from earlier in the day were followed down from Tronsen Head. Slope was obviously wind loaded and failed at the bed on facets. More caution warranted in travel decisions.
